PingWind receives CMMC Level 2 C3PAO Certification

PingWind is thrilled to announce that we are now a CMMC Level 2 C3PAO Certified Organization. Achieving CMMC Level 2 Certification validates that PingWind meets the U.S. Department of War’s stringent requirements for protecting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and confirms that our security practices align with the requirements of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST SP 800-171). As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), PingWind prioritized pursuit of this certification as indication of our commitment to the security and integrity of the information we maintain. Phase 2 does not require CMMC Level 2 certification until November 2026, however PingWind chose to join fewer than 1% of Defense Industrial Base (DIB) organizations—setting the standard for excellence. PingWind’s CMMC Level 2 Certification ensures:

  • Verified protection of sensitive defense contract data

  • Enhanced, documented, and standardized security processes

  • We are positioned to pursue and perform on contracts that require CMMC level 2 certification

The certification was conducted by a Certified Third-Party Assessor Organization (C3PAO), ArCybr (https://www.arcybr.com/) and with CMMC Level 2 certification complete, PingWind is now positioned to confidently pursue and perform Department of War contracts that require the handling of CUI. We're honored to stand among the early achievers and look forward to continuing to serve our defense customers with the highest standards of security and excellence.

To achieve this certification, PingWind utilized an innovative hybrid approach and expert guidance from Core Business Solutions, to navigate the complex process of ensuring all compliance requirements were met. Core Business Solutions, a Registered Practitioner Organization with Cyber AB helps organizations achieve and maintain compliance with CMMC, NIST, and ISO standards.

This certification demonstrates PingWind’s commitment to strong cybersecurity and to protecting sensitive government data,” said Scott Dawson, President of Core Business Solutions.
